Sketching!

Depois de um periodo sem postar, resolvi compartilhar um pouco de meu sketchbook. Nossa, eu amo esse caderno. Demorei pra conseguir um do jeito q queria, mas enfim.. O bom do sketchbook é que vc desenha tudo sem medo...e as vezes sai umas bizarrices...srssr. Acima uma caricatura da Lara Croft e minha, um sketch de um sonho q tive, e os estudos para a paisagem Olmeca...

After a period without posting, I decided to share a bit of my sketchbook. I really like this notebook. It took long for me to get one the way I wanted, anyway...The best thing of it is that you draw everything without worries...and sometimes we create some bizzare tings srsrsrsr. Above, a caricature of Lara Croft and me, a sketch of a dream I had, and the studies to the Olmec landscape.

Lost in Olmec ruins

Outro grande gosto que tenho são civilizações antigas. Estava treinando com aquarela e tive algumas ideias, e criei uma paisagem com ruinas olmecas. As cabeças colossais tinham até 4 metros de altura e até 65 toneladas. Até onde eu sei eram criadas em homenagem a grandes reis africanos que visitavam as piramides mexicanas, então os olmecas construíam esses monumentos, retratando provavelmente a face desses reis, há mais de 20 mil anos. Não sei até onde isso é verdade mas praticamente todas as esculturas que vi possuem traços africanos.

There's someting else I really like. Ancient civilizations. I was practicing watercolor and I had some ideas, so I created a landscape with Olmec ruins. The colossal heads were until 4 meters high and until 65 tons. What I know is that they were made to pay tribute to the great African kings who used to visit the mexican pyramids, so the olmecs built these monuments, probalby showing the faces of theses kings, 20 thousands years ago. I don't know how true this is, but practically all the scultures I've seen have african features.

Caricatura

Caricatura para um convite de casamento. Desenhei dessa forma a pedido do cliente. No convite eles seriam entrelaçados por laços e ficam juntinhos assim, srrsr.
Caricature for an wedding invitation. I draw it like this, at customer's request. In the invitation, they were supposed to be interwoven with ribbons, and they stay together this way srsrsrrs.

A big fat pig

Esse desenho eu fiz pra praticar com marcadores e nanquim, sem a preocupação da pintura ficar uniforme e a finalização ficar lisinha. O resultado fica bem interessante e bem artístico tbem. Fiz alguns detalhes com pastel também. Do jogo Shadowman.

I made this one to practice with markers and nankeen (ink), with no worries about uniform painting and smooth finishing. The result is quite interesting and also artistic. I also did some details with pastel. From Shadowman Game.

Esse desenho vetorial foi feito na faculdade rsrsr. Exercício em Corel Draw. Para quem curte videogames sabe que esse é um dos chefes do Megaman 7 da Capcom, Cloudman (homem nuvem).

This drawing was made in Corel Draw as an exercise in university. For the ones that really enjoy games know that this is one of the bosses in Megaman 7 by Capcom, Cloudman.

Olá. Começo meu blog postando um dos desenhos mais clássicos q tenho rsrs. Muitas pessoas já viram e gostam muito então resolvi postá-lo aqui. Esse desenho a carvão foi feito no meu desenvolvimento do curso de desenho...era um exercício e eu procurei fazer o melhor. Faz tempo q não desenho retratos e nesse tempo eu aprendi outras coisas. Vou tentar fazer um uma hora dessas pra ver como fica ;) Comentários serão bem-vindos!

Hello everyone. I start my blog posting one of the classics drawings of mine. Lots of people have already seen it and they use to like it, so I decided to post it here. this charcoal drawing was made during my drawing course...it was an exercise and I tried to do the best on it. I haven't drawn portaits since then, but in this period I learned a lot. I wil try to do one again to see how's it gonna be like ;) Comments will be welcome!
